Tiny Twinklers
The following videos show different aspects of the Suzuki ECE Baby Classes (or Tiny Twinklers) where parents join in the fun with their babies and toddlers.
Greeting Song
This energetic welcoming song is easy to learn and gives the class an opportunity to move around the room and greet each other, teaching basic social skills.

Xylophone and Glockenspiel
The Xylophone and Glockenspiel, though different in timbre, both use a similar technique. Learning to hold the mallets and strike the correct note is developed under the teacher’s supervision. Interesting effects can be produced which is a lot of fun! Alternating high and low notes on the instrument is an excellent and fun exercise for crossing the middle line.

Scarf Magic
Dance movements with scarves. The babies are held by their mothers and follow the movements of the scarves while the mother moves on the beat of the music. At the start, several of the older children were playing around, putting the scarves on their heads, not taking part in the activity. However, once the music started, they soon copied their mothers making circular movements with the scarves on the beat of the music and became more focused and part of the activity.

Big drum and small drums
The big drum, played by the teacher, sets the tempo for marching. Keeping in time with the beat helps establish a secure sense of rhythm as well as developing good listening and observational skills. Small babies who cannot march themselves feel the beat while in the parent’s arm
Wow. The kids are really concentrating!
