Unborn baby music

Can babies hear at 18 weeks?
I’m 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant ive been listening to a cd and the baby keeps jumping around like mad and this has never happened to me before could this be because of how loud the music is?
The ear is structurally complete at 24 weeks, but studies have indicated that fetuses are capable of reactive listening at about 16 weeks. So, it is possible that your little one is hearing your music.
It’s also possible that a sudden rise in blood sugar has him/her jumping around.
Good luck
Sleep well with this music..good night (for you Ocean)
